Adolf Hitler used the Nazis to take over Europe and kill the Jews.
In 1913 Hitler failed his physical and volunteered for the German army in 1914. After Germany signed the Treaty of Versailles and lost a lot of power. Hitler pledged to get power back to Germany. In 1921 Hitler became leader and ruled the Nazis like a dictator. The Nazis were called storm troopers, (“Adolf Hitler” UXL). Hitler and his Nazis tried to make the officials declare a revolution, but failed when the officials escaped. Hitler was quick and brutal trying to seize power. The German Parliament made the Nazis legal, But part of the Parliament building was destroyed in a fire by Hitler on February 27, 1933. Germany was then taken out of the League of Nations and then violated the Treaty of Versailles by re-arming his military. 1938 Hitler began building his empire. Europe decided to act on September 3, 1938 after the Nazis invaded Poland, (“Adolf Hitler”).

Hitler did good the first years. He got control of most of Europe when he captured France. In 1941 he focused on Russia in hope of an easy win but Russia defended well. In 1941 the Americans joined the fight, (“Adolf Hitler” UXC). Realizing he might loose the war he ordered the “Final Solution to the Jewish Question”, also known as the mass murder of the European Jews in German concentration camps. On July 20, 1944, some of his own military leaders tried to kill him but failed. Hitler than killed about five thousand people that he thought had helped, (“Adolf Hitler”
