In today's healthcare settings, one of the primary roles of the ANP ( Advance Nurse Practitioner) is to work in collaboration with multiple health care members. This requires, the advanced practitioner to communicate patient's health care needs efficiently and effectively with other members of the professional team. The Clinical Decision-Making worksheet as described in the Spain article is a tool that provides a framework to guide the health care provider as a transition occurs from the traditional nurse to the NP role and then later throughout their career progress .
When it comes to this approach, I believe that one of the most significant point is, that it provides a Avenue to foster clinical decision making once the patient problem data is collected. Consequently, leading to more accurate patient diagnosis and patient centered clinical interventions, addressing their health care issues.
