What if in the near future, your computer will have a conscious and have the ability to be empathetic and express feeling? What if facial recognition will be the new form of a driver's license and credit card? What if all forms of transportation are autonomous, eliminating the need for a human operator. All of these scenarios will be made conceivable by artificial intelligence (AI) development. AI refers to the construction of a machine or program that will be able to emulate human intelligence, such as decision-making or speech recognition. To replace walking far distances, they developed a better form of transportation, the horse and carriage. The horse and carriage was sufficient for a few centuries; however, it is human nature to always improve and be more efficient. The inventor of the Model T automobile, Henry Ford, realized he could not design a faster horse to meet his needs and had to find another solution. Companies implementing AI to replace humans will cause the inevitable loss of jobs and unemployment because technology gets better, faster and cheaper at a rate humans cannot match. With the development of autonomous cars, driving is more reliable and safe because of the car’s state of the art sensors and their inability to get distracted nor tired. Companies implementing autonomous cars can replace humans; therefore, eliminating the need to pay salary while being more reliable. Moreover, Noory Bechor, a commercial lawyer tired of the fact that 80 percent of his work was spent reviewing contracts, designed LawGeex, a platform for automatized contract review. On LawGeex, users upload a contract and, within an hour or two, they receive a report that states which clauses don’t meet common legal standards. All of this is calculated by algorithms, saving users about 80 percent of the time they normally use on contract review and 90 percent of the typical cost, let alone closing the deal three times
