Cloud computing is a form of technology where IT resources are made available as a service using the internet rather than getting the hardware/software deployed on personal computers. Cloud computing involves provision of cloud servers as a network of many servers that are connected to each other from various points or locations across the globe via one principle connection like the internet. Cloud server hosting takes away the various limitations that the customers were facing with the web hosting. It is far more cost effective with its pay per use model of payment.

Hybrid cloud: this is the most recent and most popular model of cloud server hosting. It is a blend taking features from both private cloud and public cloud. Organizations can get more benefits by using the public cloud for all their normal functions and the private cloud for all their sensitive and confidential operations. Hybrid cloud also allows the client to shift their data from the private to public cloud once the work’ relevance is over and new operations have started.

Cloud computing also comes in three important service models.

It includes space, internet connection, IP addresses, bandwidth, load balancers etc. These hardware resources are pooled from different servers and networks available through data centers. The maintenance and management of all these resources are the responsibility of the cloud server hosting provider.
