Randy Pausch once said “No matter how bad things are, you can always make things worse.” Everyone has hardships in life, however the outcome of your adversity relies on your approach. But struggling with our problems and fighting through them helps us out a lot because it shows us what we are made of and promotes our personal growth. As Hinton said "The fight for self-preservation had hardened him against caring." Chapter 4, pg.
