While I do not have direct employment experience relating to affordable housing, I have served diverse populations through the years who were striving to overcome barriers related to race, class, disability, age, sexuality, language, and socioeconomic status. As a result of these obstacles, the vast majority of people I served were recipients of housing benefits. My previous roles in the social service sector involved assisting people in overcoming these barriers while delivering superlative service.
