Race problems and stereotypes of each racial groups are deeply rooted in American culture and its mass media. A stereotype is a preconceived idea that is widely known about a certain group of people. Both positive and negative stereotypes exist, but even having a positive stereotype of a certain group can be offensive to others. African American people are known to be good at athletics, to be strong, and to be talented in music. Asian people are good at studying and are bad drivers.
