The Impact of Behavior African American eighth grade male students, and what impacts them to perceive different behaviors in the classroom. The local problem within African American schools, and students is the classrooms’ environment. Other local problems are trying to keep each and every child in a good school to receive a good education. The article suggests that African American students perceive that need for academic support as important, whereas a teacher’s personality is less important in showing that the teacher cares about students (Batts, 2012). It has been reported that there are several obstacles that urban school districts are faced with such as repeated negative results in academic performance. Teachers should be dedicated to the population of students that they teach (Garrett, Barr, & Rothman, 2009). African American eighth grade male students was measured using the aggressive/disruptive subscale of the Teacher Observation of classroom adaptation-revised, a measure of each child’s adequacy of performance on the core tasks in the classroom as defined by the teacher. The chronic stress faced by many of these youth, coupled with the normal developmental trials facing all adolescents, may overwhelm the coping capacities of many adults.
