The Agricultural Revolution, also known as the Neolithic Revolution, was the gradual transition in various aspects of human lifestyle due to the development of agricultural practices. The beginning of the agricultural revolution has been dated from approximately 8000 BCE to 2500 BCE in Southwest Asia, China and Southeast Asia, and the Americas, independently. Although there is a variety of arguable beliefs on the onset of the Agricultural Revolution, the revolution has indeed impacted human societies in unprecedented ways. Pre and post Agricultural Revolution, the reliance on nature and the vulnerability of humans to environmental factors have remained constant, while there were significant changes in the human societies, such as the establishment of communities and the development of hierarchy and inequality.
