As Aimee Mullins One said that she doesn’t consider herself to be disabled, but an architect to her own identity and life. When she tells that she doesn’t considered herself to be disabled by this she means that she can still manage to do the same things and that to her she is okay because people support her and have seen her in a different way. She also says that disabled people can also change those identity. I think that as humans we are not define by what our health condition might be. Furthermore, she is trying to stay that she in charge of her own choices and life and she won’t let any health condition get in the way of achieving her goals. As Mullins mentions that now we are understanding our collective humanity.
