INCIDENT ACTION PLAN OUTLINE
1.

GENERAL INFORMATION
a.
Type of Exercise [R] – The Twin Falls Composite Squadron has been asked to support the Air Magic Valley 2014 airshow on 20-22 June 2014. CAP involvement will be limited to assistance in directing automobiles to parking areas, acting as guides and giving directions, maintaining a recruiting/information booth next to static CAP aircraft display, and assistance around parked or static display aircraft for guidance, information or direction.

Specific Goals and Objectives for this activity [R] –
Provide Air Magic Valley 2014 airshow team with assistance in directing visitor’s vehicles to designated parking areas, act as guides and giving directions, maintaining a recruiting/information area around the CAP aircraft static display and to assist monitoring the area between the show area and the general public area.

Training and Mission Objectives [R] –
Support activities at Air Magic Valley 2014 as described above in a safe manner and obtain maximum visibility of CAP to attendees.

Initial Reporting Times and Locations [R] –
All participants should report to the ICP at the Twin Falls Civil Air Patrol
Building on Friday, 20 June 2014 by 16:00 MDT or as soon as practical given transportation requirements.
Units should report their expected participant count (cadet and senor) no later than Wednesday, 18 June 22014. The information should be sent to pla@pandersys.com. Each unit sending participants should also inform the staff of their expected arrival time on Friday.

Operations –
• CAP cadets will be assigned to 2 person Strike Teams who will be assigned to various work locations according to a schedule which will be published. The Strike Teams will remain intact throughout the event.
• The staff will have a golf cart that will be used to distribute water to deployed strike teams and for necessary transport.

Communications –
CAP members will use CAP radios between them and the IC for status and instructions. i.

Billeting and Food Information –
Cadets will be billeted in either a large military style tent or in the CAP building.
Separate areas will be designated for male and female cadets. Cots will be furnished. Members are responsible for bringing their own sleeping bags.
