In the novel Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko Chapters 30-32 Moose is a kid who moves to the island of Alcatraz to live there and has to struggle through a ton of conflict. Natalie (Moose’s “little” sister) wants to go outside but Moose won’t let her because of the con “105” and is scared to let her out.
