The Imitation Games is about a British man named Alan Turing, who in the 1930’s cracked the Nazi codes, which included Enigma. During the Second World War, Turing worked for the Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park. Turings’ team included Joan Clarke, Hugh Alexander, John Cairncross, Peter Hilton, and Jack John. It took them a long time to complete this but they did after several months. It wasn’t all fun because in 1952, Alan was sent to trial because he was gay.
