Alexander The Great had a father who was a King and his mother who was a Queen. His father was King Philip of Macedonia, and his mother, Olympia. King Philip was assassinated at the age of 20 and Alexander was soon King. Alexander was great for these reasons, his leadership skills, concern for others, and his intelligence. Alexander went east from Macedonia on a rampage for land. He concord all of west Asia, Egypt surrendered because Egypt didn’t like being under Persians, and last concord most of west India (Doc. A).
