Do students really want to give up their whole long awaited summer for school? The traditional school calendar is the best method because high schoolers can get summer jobs, kids can attend summer camps, and it is financially cheaper.

High schoolers can not get a job if they have to go to school all year round. Kids need the money to pay for gas and food. There would be no time to do school, after-school activities, and work at a job if students went to school all year round. Having to do all of this will just add extra stress on students. Having tons of homework has been enough stress already. If there was a whole summer break, students would be able to work and not have to stress about their studies. Parents would also never get to be with their kids if they go to school all-day and then go to work.
