Within Allison Jaggar's paper "prostitution", she examines and identifies three approaches that the Marxist, Liberal and Radical Feminist take on the subject. Throughout this paper I will defend the Liberal view on the basis that this view wants to decriminalize prostitution, and defends their rights in accordance to the Charter of the Rights and Freedom. Firstly, I will examine the three views on prostitution and discuss the contrasting arguments and related topics throughout each. Therefore Radical Feminist view a women being taken out to a candlelight dinner by a man as prostitution. Just as the Marxist view Radical Feminist also see marriage as a form of prositution, but Radical Feminist take it further saying that any interaction between a male and female can be considered some form of prositution. To which Radical Feminist would say that this shows how deeply in our consciousness the sexist attitudes have been imbedded. In addition, Radical Feminist support the argument that protestation is in place for men to degrade women, and stress the dominate that men have over women. Moreover, these theorist also argue that prostitutes are vulnerable, obedient, and common wealth; also it is to be believed that these women are always the victim and cannot think for themselves and want these things to be done, they are forced into it weather they are willing to or not. Therefore women themselves cannot be in power of their own sexual experiences because sex is only in the decision of men. Furthermore, prostitution is domineering to women because it makes them to be objects and cannot help themselves from falling under this function of a sex
