As studies are being done, Alzheimer’s is one disease that researcher’s believe will have affected 71 percent of people by 2050. The National Institute on Aging and Alzheimer’s Association have come together to find ways to earlier diagnosis, and therapy treatment mechanisms. The NIA-AA broke down the phases of Alzheimer’s into three phases. Several treatment plans are being tested to find ways of slowing down the progression of Alzheimer’s.
Maybe one day we will be able to cure this disease and help so many elderly patients since technology is constantly expanding.
