In Frankenstein, Victor’s ambition is what ,in the end, ruined his life and the led to the murders of his loved ones. Likewise, Robert’s ambition almost got him and his crew killed traveling to the north pole. While, ambition may come with benefits, in this case, it only offered sorrow.
Victors biggest flaw was his ambition. He wanted to be like a god and that is what drove him to create the creature. That is what started it all, his creation. He knew nothing about what he was really creating. And that was a risk he was willing to take to be a successful scientist. While, he may have benefited from creating the creature, in the way that he would be the first scientist to create life, he would never be able to enjoy it. He lost everyone he loved and ended up dying alone.
Ambition is also represented in Robert and his quest for knowledge. He was denied an education. This made him have a hunger

And, I believe everybody wants to be successful. Whether, it’s to be a successful actor or a successful aerospace engineer. And that’s why we take those risk to reach our goal. And if don’t let your ambition blind you, you could reach that goal successfully, instead of it backfiring on you like it did for victor. It wasn’t victor’s fault because he had an ambition, it was his fault because he let himself get blinded with his obsession to be successful.
Ambition is different for everybody. As well are the risks and benefits that come with it. It’s not going to go horribly wrong for everybody. But, its also not going to be so easy for everyone either. It also depends on your situation. If you know people that could help you, it will be easier. But, if you don’t know anybody it’s going to be harder for you. What people are risking also changes things. If you really have nothing to lose you won’t care as much, if things don’t go the way you wanted them to. But if you a lot to lose, you’ll be a lot more
