Snipers, some of the most dangerous soldiers on the battlefield. After going through the toughest training in the military losing is not an option. Their mental and physical toughness is on another level, especially the snipers arising from the Navy SEALS. Chris Kyle is among those who graduated from SEALS sniper training. American Sniper is a Clint Eastwood directed film focusing on the life of Chris Kyle, the most decorated sniper in United States history. Basing the movie off of Chris Kyle’s autobiography, American Sniper, Eastwood captures the true elements of the war overseas. Eastwood captures the emotional and physical struggles war has on a soldier as well as their family back at home. The true heart of Chris Kyle is shown in this movie as the ultimate protagonist. These are some of the main themes in the movie Eastwood portrays Chris Kyle. Kyle displays mass amounts of bravery, loyalty, and humility throughout his life in the film.

For Chris Kyle it was important to be brave considering that he was an elite sniper in the Navy SEALS. Kyle had to outweigh any situation that frightened him to see the larger picture instead of backing down, making him tremendously brave. Chris Kyle was also extremely loyal, to the cause of the war and also his family back at home. Showing the audience loyalty goes a long way. The film also portrays Chris Kyle’s humbleness throughout the film. The act of Kyle being humble makes him much more of a respectable man that he is remembered by; as if he does not have enough respect. Eastwood showed how great of a man Chris Kyle was which in my opinion is very important to the movie. The audience would not have the same respect for Kyle if Eastwood had not included the three themes of bravery, loyalty, and
