The Eugenics movement took place in the early 1900’s led by Charles davenport (1866-1994).

And it became a popular 1920’s and 30s during this period the American Eugenics Society was founded.By the 1940’s the american eugenics movement began to lose power ,that’s around the time of the horrors of Nazi Germany.Eugenics Movement reaches It Height around 1923
The U.S eugenics movement began to lose power in the 1940s and was completely of the Nazi Germany to avoid repeating this dark chapter the first state to enact a sterilization law was indiana in 1907 quickly followed by california and 28 other states by 1931.
