Reality TV is a television programs which the everyday routines of "real life" people, who are fictional characters played by actors and actresses, are continuously getting filmed by cameras. Cynthia Frisby's Getting Real with Reality TV is informing about America's obsession with reality shows. Also, it shows the connection and crave that people have for reality TV. People who enjoys watching other people's lives. If the reality programming fail to draw ratings for the show, they quickly get rid of the show and replace it with something new that everyone like to see on TV.
It is becoming extremely difficult to avoid watching reality TV these days. Reality television effects cause people to live their lives around reality TV. Reality television can put people in situations of what everyone wants to imagine and that people start compared themselves to the people who are on TV. Reality TV can change the moods of the viewers while they watching the TV. Some people would get excited about the big secret of the show while other people would get sad or angry about the dramatic breakup.
