It is amazing how far we have come in American, everything we do is from a learning experience. Without these mistake we wouldn’t be able to plan, prevent certain hazardous event like the ones we have encountered over the years. One thing I have learn is that every situation we try to prevent from happening always throws us a curve ball creating more disaster we was not anticipating on, in the end causing us to recreate a newer and better plan for the next time a similar event happens. Even when we take proper procedures errors can still be a factor to why response wasn’t successful to a disaster. In this case a hurricane had occur, few minutes after that impact a tsunami was on its way towards Chile, and Chilean did not get the proper warning for this disaster coming their way. In 2010 after the hurricane hit Chile the citizen did not get the proper warning for the tsunami that was coming their way. Officials from the City of Talca stated that the first wave hit before a tsunami warning was issued to the community.
