In May of 2016 actor Bill Cosby was brought up on multiple felony charges against Sandra Constand long with fifty other women. It is said that the award winning actor rapped illgaly sedated and raped over 50 women, some of them being students at his former Alma Mater. Harm; Legailty, Actus Reus, Mens Rea, Causation, Concurrence, and Punishment are all elements that make a crime a crime. We understand that Mr. Cosby thought out, planned, and executed his actions; so harm indeed did occur. Below we will briefly explain how Mr. Cosby supported these elements while carrying out his actions making this crime into a sickening reality.

The next step is legality and that means that the crime must be legally forbidden and not be ex post facto. Ex post facto means that the crime was legal when it happened but the law makes it illegal. The crime that he was accused of was illegal when he did it and is still illegal to this day. So as of now, the charges brought against him can be considered a crime.
