In the essay An Indentured Servant’s Letter Home by Richard Frethorne, Frethorne describes various harsh conditions he encounters while he was over at Virginia, and truefully regretted his decision of going oversea to America. First, Frethorne mentions that there is a lot of diseases passing around in America, such includes bloody flux, scurvy, and many other diseases.
