Baseball has become one of the most popular American sports, but it has always been a very well-known game. When one thinks of baseball what are some of the things that come to mind? Perhaps they think of it simply as a ball game played between two teams of nine on a field with a diamond-shaped circuit of four bases, or a hard ball used in the game of baseball. Some may think of their favorite players or teams when they hear baseball, or popular players that made an impact on the sports; Babe Ruth or Jackie Robinson.
The actual definition of baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players each who take turns batting and fielding, the offense attempts to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the pitcher with a bat swung by the batter, then running counter-clockwise around a series of four bases: first, second, third, and home plate. A run is scored when a player advances around the bases and returns to home plate, and players on the batting team take turns hitting against the pitcher

Just like any other sport, baseball has its high moments as well as its low moments. Baseball of course has different ways in which it originated, how it became more popular in today’s world, and the changing of rules with different important incidents that occur. There is no doubt that the game of baseball will still change over the year, if it is the rules, or the popular players, or new forms of cheating that come in and out of the game.
