Which One is the Right One? Guatemala’s government has been suffering with the fraud that is occurring in the different levels. The op-ed, “A Wrong Turn for Guatemalan Democracy” by Anita Isaacs debates about the way Guatemala’s methods to enforcing their government. The usage of deduction emphasizes the amount of destruction that fear can do to the public. She states, “...could incite popular frustration that spills over into violent acts, providing the government with an excuse to silence them”(Isaacs). If a wrong decision is made by government officials then the public will use their power to persuade and enforce the way they want. However is done so, the government will have to fight the protesters back in order to gain control again.
