Peyton Manning Vs Andrew Luck

Although Peyton manning is a future hall of famer quarter back, the colts have chose to start there rebuilding with a new quarter back Andrew luck. This comparison of the quarter backs will prove that Peyton would have been better for the franchise.

Peyton manning is 6 foot 5and weighing in at 235 pounds he attended Tennessee university and started his freshman year and played 3 more season with the longhorn before he enter the NFL draft in 1998 he was a first round draft pick and overall number one, before he left college sports commentators said he will be great quarterback if he continues the ways he plays and was predicted to take his team to championships. The colts drafted Peyton manning that year and to them that was an eye opener and a new beginning for success in the franchise his rookie year he passed over 3000 yards with 26 touchdowns and set five different NFL records one of them were the most touchdowns in one season he had a lot to show because this was his rookie season the season before that the teams record was 3-13 record but he manage to pull through the colts went 13-3 Peyton manning rookie year.
Andrew luck is 6 foot 4 and is weighing 230 pounds he attended Stanford University he did not his freshmen year he decided to redshirt and the next season he earned the starting quarterback job over the staring junior quarterback that year Andrew luck led his team to the sun bowl as a freshmen which no freshmen quarterback has done at Stanford they beat top teams in there conference which is the Pac 10 such as Oregon USC and more he played 3 more years with Stanford and stayed an extra year to play football he already had all his credits to graduate he just wanted one more year to play that year he took the cardinal to the BCS bowl. He enter the 2012 draft and sports commentator were speaking that he was going to be the next best prospect since Peyton manning he was one in the No. 1 pick overall in the NFL draft pick of 2012. He had a lot of weight on his should trying to fulfill the great shoes of Peyton manning and trying to turn a 2-14 record around that year Andrew luck broke the rookie record for most passing yards he threw over 4000 yards and ended with a season record of 11-5. I believe that they should have kept Peyton manning and have Andrew luck as a back up so he could be taught the ropes by one of the greatest playing this game called football but they decided to release manning because the franchise was afraid he would get
