Kenneth Branuaghs version of version of HenryV, the king is represented as a inspiring, uplifting and triumphant king yet still inexperienced and not as confident as the French. The dark, gloomy forest creates a stronger sense of fear and empowerment rather then, strength and confidence that the other portrayals show. King henry is shown to be the king with a colourful uniform and standing on top of hill, yet the trees act like barriers and show how unorganised the army is, it also doesn’t give an image of the size, yet still of a large number. The king is fearful and careful with how he speaks yet close ups of him and his men, show that they are slowly growing excitement and confidence back to there original stature. He changes his tone for emphasis and facial expressions to show weather he is serious or happy.
Overall his inexperience and inspiring and triumphant speech shows that he is prepared yet still not completely aware of what is about to come.

Laurence Olivier’s version of HenryV, king Henry is depicted as a soldier rather then a king he wears no crown or no unique and special uniform. He set out to win honour and remake his image, rather then be treated specially. He is on a cart and in the centre of the crowd of men. The background is cloudy yet still sunny skies and large festival like tents. His army is said to be small yet looks quite large in the movie. The large tents and open battleground show that the men are more relaxed and prepared then in Braunghs Version. Olivier’s portrayal of the king is most relaxed and this creates an image
