The title of the first activity we will be implementing in class is “Making A Dreamcatcher.” This activity is developmentally appropriate for the ages 3 to 5. The activity will be representing the Native American ethnic group. Children hardly know about other people’s ethnic groups or where certain things that we use in our lives either on a daily bases or during a special event may have originated from. I will be teaching the children that there are other ethnic groups other than their own such as the Native American ethnic group. While teaching the Native American culture I will be explaining to the children how this particular group has different tribes not just one single tribe.
