Warriors were meant to show strength instead of fear.Some people fight hate without fighting physically.In the book Warriors Dont Cry,by Melba Pattillo Beals,it is about nine african-american students integrating Central High school in Little Rock,Arkansas.During this integration they have to overcome many obstacles of racial slurs and attacks by segregationists.But they have to find a way to overcome that and survive the school year.Power lies not in displays of physical strength. Melba shows power in physical ways that only works in some situation.On page 121, it states that "I had to stop them.I picked up my books and tossed one upward as hard s I could,in a blind aim to hit my attackers...I had hit my target."
