I support the prosecution for their decision the mother should be punished for what she had done. When you become a parent you are responsible for many things, and one of them is taking care of your kids. Parents are looked at as leaders of their child’s. They are supposed to show them how life works the good and bag of things. Ms.Pollock was a mother who first could not take care of herself rather than her children. When a mother dates a person they have to first get to know him more and more before inviting them to their homes. She didn’t try to get to know who Mr.English truly was inside a cold blooded murder. For that she lost her child because she didn’t bother of finding out who he really was. She brought that man to her house and she was the one who got her child killed. …show more content…
She was not standing up for her kids Ms.Pollock is not fit to be a mother if she cant even protect her own kids. She could have went to the Police for help saying how abusive Mr.English was and they could have fixed the problem. Some mother stand up for their children and do the right thing. However, she didn’t do the right thing she let this go on and in the end she got convicted of a first-degree murder and served 7 years. For example in the article it would say of how her children were always dirty and let them walk alone in the dark. This shows how she never once even did anything good for her children. She was a horrible role model to her children and a bad parent as well. She never gave the children any attention or love at all till the end when her daughter
