If I can walk into and interact with people in any two famous photograph it would be the image of Florence Owens Thompson and her children. This famous photograph portrays the hardships that people faced in the worst economic times of the United States. Second, I want to walk and interact in the “Raising the Flag in Iwo Jima”. This well known photograph shows the victory in the Battle of Iwo Jima.
I choose the photo of Florence Owens Thompson and her children because this photograph holds a story full of hardship, history, and meaning. Florence Owens Thompson was a widow and a mother of seven children. She was forced to work in the hospitals, cook meals, and do everything else just to provide her children’s necessities.
