The movie walkout is about a group of Mexican-American students who are tired of being treated unequally. A protestwas made by thousands of Mexican American children and five high schools in Los Angeles. The students planned the protest by making walkouts to pretest of anti-immigration legislation. The hispanic children were sick and tired of the racial discrimination that the school gave them throughout the year. The school system didn’t give them equal opportunities and they forced them to do physical work throughout the school.
The students organized the walkouts and led the movement, they were inspired by the civil rights movement. The students wanted a latin American History and wanted the janitorial work as punishment to stop. The walkouts
