In the novel To Kill a Mocking Bird (TKAM) by Harper Lee, there are many important messages. One that relates to various characters in the book is Atticus’ saying to Scout, “to walk around in another’s shoes for awhile.” This quote means that you can’t understand a person’s actions until you see it from their point of view.
