Sherrilyn Kenyon was born in 1965 in Columbus Georgia. She is an American writer who has written over twenty novels. Ever since she was around five or six she knew she wanted to be a writer. She decided to become a writer at a young age because it gave her an outlet from her abusive childhood. In her college years however, she wanted to major in art, so that she could make her own comics and stories for Marvel or DC comics. After several attempts of trying to get in to her college’s art program, her professor asked her to stop trying to get in and study for another major. That’s when Sherrilyn switched to an English major. Once again though, the professor in charge of publishing would not let her in, he didn’t believe she was serious enough about to try to be a real author. There is a struggle for them to rise up to the top. One famous quote among the fans is in one of her most famous books Acheron. Acheron is about a boy who was supposed to be a king when he was born, but because of certain circumstances, he was taken away to be a slave. After publishing a several books, Sherrilyn was forced to live in her car for several months with her husband when both of them had a baby that had serious medical issues. After several months, another pregnancy, high medical bills, and serious stress from her publisher, she finally wrote the book that changed everything,
