The ongoing case between the Federal Bureau of Investigation an apple is one of absurdity. The FBI is claiming that they need this encryption to be done so that they can view personal information of and stop the terrorists and also accomplices of them. They want to use this encryption to stop attacks while they are still being planned out and not give the terrorists enough time to act. Apple refuse to create their software because they believe that personal information must remain personal. Although we do want to stop terrorists Apple believes that a world where this encryption exists is a world where nothing is private. Apple also believes that once you put holes in this encryption it's not a matter of if but a matter of when everything we once thought were secrets or personal information will be revealed.

This conflict between Apple and the FBI has increasingly gotten worse. Apple's attorneys call the FBI's arguments disturbing and the FBI call Apple desperate for marketing ploys. If this conflict continues the case could reach all the way up to the Supreme Court.

Although the FBI makes a valid point by saying that if they have access to personal information on people’s phones solving a crime would be much easier. However the government has solved numerous cases without having to hack into people's phone to find personal information.

His mother was said to have had crucial information kept on a diary on her phone. They also stated that the mother’s 9 year old daughter asked why they couldn’t open her mommy’s phone to see who the killer was. However it did say that Apple did attempt to do all it could, they knew there was more that they could have done. They knew that Apple could create a backdoor and unlock the phone. Apple met this by saying that even if they did create this backdoor, criminals would still find a way to hide information to where not even Apple could find
