Digestive System The digestive system ingests foods and provide the body with nutrients and to evacuate waste products. Furthermore, the digestive system is important because our bodies need energy, growth, and cell repair. There are about 13 diseases that can take place in the digestive system. In addition, the disease that I am choosing is the most common one and it’s Crohn’s disease.
