Three words that could be used to describe Andrew Jackson’s presidency are messy, ineffective, and harmful. It could be described as messy because of the way he treated the second bank of the United States. Even though it significantly helped the economy, he didn't like it and therefore got rid of it. It is considered messy because he screwed up the economy and caused the Panic of 1837. The Panic of 1837 caused most of America’s industry to collapse, and that isn’t what most would consider a success. Jackson’s presidency was ineffective because he accomplished absolutely nothing successful in either of his terms as president.
