Andrew Wiggins, also known as Ender is a six year old boy, he is a Third, which means the government allowed his parents to have another child, at the time you were only supposed to have two children. The government watches Ender everyday though the monitor that is in the back of his neck. Ender is very smart, for being such a young boy. The government first thought Ender’s siblings, Peter and Valentine, were the ones to save the world from the buggers, but after watching them for a long period of time they realized that Peter was too violent, and Valentine was too sensitive. The government watch Ender until he was six and decided that he needed to be sent to the battle school to begin training. Ender as many great qualities that will help him become a great leader, he is determined, smart, and violent, these qualities will help him become the person that saves the world from the buggers. Ender’s first great quality, is that he is very determined. He shows this a couple of times throughout the story. The first time he showed this was during the fantasy game on his desktop. Ender first shows how smart he is when he beats the fantasy game. The fantasy game was set up for him to fail, but he does not think like everyone else, and he figured a way out to beat it anyway. The next thing is, he can watch people play a game, and learn what they are doing, and the rules the computer was following. He showed this skill, by asking one of the bigger boys he had been watching play, to play the best two out of three in one of the games he was playing, Ender ended up winning in the end. “Bout time they replaced this machine.
