Negotiation Approaches Last year when I was signing up for classes I was debating on whether or not to take negotiations online or in class. After having my first negotiation online, I am very happy with my decision to take Negotiations in class. There are many different reasons of why taking negotiation in class is more affective. The pros of taking Negotiation in class would be having the hands on activities. Be able to see the person you are negotiating with has a big effect on how well it will go. You can see their facial expressions and their initial reaction to your offer. It is definitely more affective to be able to negotiation in person and come with an offer we both agree on. In my opinion, I don’t think there are any cons for taking Negotiations in class. If I had to come with one con, it would have to be being able to meet with our group outside of class. That was probably one of the most difficult parts for our group because we all worked opposite schedules. The pros of taking Negotiation online would be not having a group to meet with outside of class. This is a problem with every class that has a group project. Another pro has to do the negotiations when it is convenient for you. I feel that there are many cons to having negotiations online. The main con would be not having a face to face conversation with the other person you are negotiation with. I think it is important to see the person
