In the novel, Animal Farm, by George Orwell, Boxer, a horse, was an interesting character. He is a horse who has a great personality, he loves to help everyone on the farm and the farm itself, and does a lot of work. However other characters like Napoleon, tries to manipulate the other animals on the farm, and also gives the pigs greater things, like better places to sleep, and better food. Boxer does not realize this because he sees the good things that Napoleon does. The farm would not make it if it was not for Boxer’s loyalty, dedication, and strength.
First, Boxer is the most loyal animal on the farm that is not a pig or a dog because he listens to Napoleon whenever he gives a command. An example is when Boxer states, “‘ Napoleon is always right’” (21), which shows how much he honors Napoleon. This exemplifies that Boxer will listen to whatever Napoleon says, which will lead the others to follow in Boxer’s footsteps, and do what Napoleon says. Additionally, Boxer thinks of Napoleon as this powerful leader who will give the animals what they deserve because he is a devotee of Napoleon. In short, Boxer is a very loyal animal who will listen to his leader, and who is very dedicated to the farm by doing his greatest.

For instance, Boxer was one of the last animals still working while the others watched Boxer in amazement as he worked as hard as he could.
