Humans have been eating meat for many years without knowing what it does to their bodies. The absolute question is, is it okay to eat meat or should we completely discard it from our diets? Well in fact, it is totally okay to consume animal meat in one’s diet because of all of the nutrients it gives you, how much it reduces health risks, and how it benefits the outside of the body.
Over the years, there has been a lot of controversy about the consumption of animal meats; whether it is healthy to eat, or to completely slough it from the consumers’ lives. It is said from the World Health Organization that if you eat 3 ½ oz. of red meat daily it will increase your risk of having colorectal cancer ( Source D ). Also, meat has high estrogen levels running through their nutrient components, and changing from a diet rich in animal fat and protein to one that is high in vegetable fat and protein, it reduces circulating estrogen levels by 40% ( Source C ). However, studies have proved that there was no risk in eating 3 ½ oz. of unprocessed meat a day. They have found risk for heart disease in only processed meat ( Source D ). And in Source A, it states,”The consensus among dietitians is that the optimal diet contains relatively small amounts of animal protein and fat.” Thus, you will not be in risk of colorectal cancer or have high circulating

Consumption of meat rich in omega-3 fatty acids is beneficial for healthy skin and hair. The fatty acids protect the skin from UV rays and restore the skin with a natural glow ( Source F ). Just by eating meat rich in this fatty acid will help your complexion in so many ways.
