With the interview I was a little nervous and had no idea on who I wanted to interview. But then I was asking around and somebody told me to interview a vet, from the animal vet in Kimberly. At first I did not know if I wanted to go that way but then I saw that they will have a different view than going to an animal shelter and getting a view point for the outside. With the interview it went well, did not take longer than half-an-hour. The people at the vet were supper nice. I interview Jenni Lanting she is one of the doctor vets. I did my interview on November 18, 2016, I interviewed her at the Kimberly vet in an office. But if you have a lot of money then, they could possible send you to a bigger vet like Boise because the can do MRIs there and help you a lot more than what they could do here. Then that the process of a euthanasia is there slow but it does not hurt the animals they just get put down slowly and then they just go into a deep sleep and never wake up. I learned a lot when interviewing her because some of the questions I asked were common, but if I did not know a lot of the answers, she would explain them more and would go through and put more about the …show more content…
That is why no kill shelters are good because they do not and will not unless the dogs are suffering, ill, or to aggressive. And that the traditional shelters just euthanize when they need more room or if they have been there for a long time. I also believe that the traditional shelters should look at other options, like trading the animals with other shelters or they could find a rescue place for the dogs like Anything’s Pawsable. Where they can get the dogs out there, so they will not be caged in all day and they can go to adoption events and be around people so the animals will not be aggressive, and everyone can see them when they are
