During the space race, the solvent union sent many animals into space for testing. Many people got mad at the solvent union. Little did they know that the Americans were doing the same thing. Soon they realized and were very frustrated. Animal testing during the Space Race is cruel, absurd and should never be done. I believe that animals have as much right in this world as we do. Also, animals can't tell us how they feel, or if they want to go into space or if they are hurting. Lastly, we don't even understand what these animals go through or how much pain they go through during testing.

When testing animals during the Space Race, the animals do not have a say. They can't talk. They can't tell us what they want, or if they are in pain. There are people in this world who are willing to do the testing. So why would we use the animals who don't have a say, when we can use the people who are willing to. Because the animals can't talk we are forcing them to …show more content…
I believe that this statement is wrong. It is true that some people can make a difference in this world and people will change the world. But that does not mean that we have the right to put an innocent animal into testing there are many people in this world that we could put into testing. It is unfair to the animals who have no advantage or no say and whether or not they have to go.

Animal testing during the Space Race is cruel, absurd and should never be done. I believe that animals have as much right in this world as we do. Also, animals can't tell us how they feel, or if they want to go into space or if they are hurting. Lastly, there were many other/better options than taking the animals. I just don’t understand how you could do this to an animal. During the Space Race, we had no idea what the animals went through I hope that now we understand and this won't happen again!
