The character Charlie is mostly the one that is always in the story. Like you heard in the intro she is John’s girlfriend. Her roommate is another girl named Jessica. Jessica is a wild girl. Charlie is the quiet one and she is not like anyone else. I think that Charlie only thinks about her grades and being successful. Her dad was the founder of Freddy’s and his name was Henry. He got murdered in the story by an Animatronic.
Charlie as you know is in college. Her dad was the founder of the place where the murders happened. In college one of Charlie’s classes is robotics or computer science. For that class she has to make a project. Her project is two faces that communicate with each other.

So instead of the animatronic biting Charlie’s Dad he took a knife and stabbed her Dad to make it look like someone murdered him. Then Dave killed a lot of kids at Freddy’s. Something then made him get into the Spring Bonnie Suit. That’s when Charlie and the rest went to Freddy’s. When Charlie and the rest went to Freddy’s in the first book. That’s when they met Dave. He was wandering the halls even though it is abandoned.
Since Dave was wandering the hall he did not want people going in a room where Freddy was so they did not get hurt. I think he did want people to go in there so they could get hurt and he wanted to see them get hurt or
