Some of these are, Anne was introduced as 12 in the movie while she was 11 in the book. Also, in the movie Anne took on a dare from Josie at Moody's house although in the book the dare took place at Diana's house. Another small Change is that Anne recites the "Maiden's vow" in the book, but in the movie it is the "Highway Man". Maybe he changed the poem because it was more dramatic. Each of these changes didn't harm the story. The movie is still a great adaptation.

Analysis
Anne of Green Gables is a good film adaptation. The movie added to the plot and was able to not take away from the story. Even though the book has more detail and dialogue, the movie was able to capture the meaning. My idea of a good adaptation is that it should add to the story and shouldn't take away from the meaning. The descriptions and characters should be similar. Anne of Green Gables followed my idea of a great adaptation.
