Chan in his work is able to do an in depth comparison between Aristotle and Hamilton that alludes to the political and historical significance both men share. The work is able to persuade the reader to use a comparative motive to see how both men were able to transform and change the world. The overall purpose of Chan’s work is to provide the reader with a comparative of Hamilton and Aristotle that demonstrates differences and similarities both men faced when coming into the political and social spotlight. The work can be used a key source when demonstrating how Hamilton overcame his political struggles while in office.

This work is primary to research as it is the broadest source touching on all aspects of Hamilton’s life, and is highly referenced in todays “pop” culture.

In all, this would be secondary source for anyone wanting to know and elaborate on specific works written by Hamilton as well as Madison. The source however, does elaborate on the life of Madison more fluently however in comparison to Hamilton.

Joseph Murrary primarily resourceful retelling of how Hamilton became a “forgotten” founder goes into detail of the failures and hardships that Alexander faces. The source is able to elaborate on Hamilton’s complex childhood and how it connected to the choices he made the latter part in his life. While the retelling does not explicitly answer the title of how he was forgotten, the work does allude to how history tends to forget the founding fathers that were not president. In all, this source would be useful for anyone attempting to understand the unpopular side of Hamilton and his “forgotten” history.
