Antidiarrheal Medications
Trade Name: Lonox
Generic Name is: Atropine & Diphenoxylate
This medication is used to reduce spasms in the colon, stomach and intestines. Possible side effects of the Atropine & Diphenoxylate are the following. Your Doctor should be contacted immediately if you have any of these symptoms.
• Most common can be constipation, blurred vision, decreased sweating, trouble sleeping, dry skin, nose, and mouth, headache, loss of appetite or taste, dizziness, or drowsiness, nausea and nervousness.
Severe Reaction Symptoms’ are as follows.
• Hives, rash, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue, lips, mouth, bloating of the abdomen , irregular heartbeat, and confusion just to name a few.

Generic Name: Promethazine
• Phenergan is used to treat allergy symptoms, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose and itchy rash on skin. It is also used to treat nausea, motion sickness, pain and nausea from surgery. It can also be used for a sedative to aid in sleep. (www.drugs.com)

Side effects if you have any of the following symptoms you should stop taking the medication and call you doctor immediately.
• Feeling weak, shallow breathing, severe drowsiness, light headedness, confusion, feelings of agitation, having nightmares or hallucinations, having either fast or slow heart rate.
• Ill feeling, or sudden weakness, trouble swallowing, fever, chills, mouth sores, sore throat read or swollen gums. Tremors, uneven heartbeats, very still ridged muscles, high fever and feeling like you may pass out.
You should always let you doctor know if you are on any medications as some medications such as Coumadin, Alevert, Spiriva, Atropine will effect Phenergan.
