The war that we got is the Antietam war. The Antietam war started on September 17, 1862 and ended on September 18, 1862. It took place near Antietam creek in Sharpsburg, Maryland. The Antietam war was the bloodiest war in war history. This war started with an argument between General Robert E. Lee and George B. McClellan on Northern soil. Northern soil was very common at that time in the North and people including General Robert E. Lee thought that if he took it away from the North, specifically George B. McClellan for the first time, he would win a major victory.
