Everyone has beliefs, and sometimes those beliefs and ideas are stronger than everything else.Throughout history many people have always had different ideas, opinions and beliefs compared to others. In many of the passages we have read, including, Antigone, Students protesting over dress code rules, a pipeline ruining native americans water source and more, it can be seen that not everyone has the same opinion or belief. In this case, these groups of people has such strong opinions that they break rules and laws just to show what they stand for. In the passage I read, Antigone, The main character breaks the law to do what she feels is morally right in her opinion. In that case it was burying her brother so he could go to heaven.

When people have very strong beliefs and opinions that they believe are morally right, then they might break the law or some rules. This can be seen in the passage about dress code rules at certain school.

For example, the native americans were protesting the construction of a pipeline being built which endangered the water supply, which would affect many people that relied on that water source. Along with that, the native americans felt that this was a wrong action for the government to build the pipeline so they decided to protest against that because they had a very strong belief in what was morally right. The Native american were also very smart when looking at the effect that the pipeline had and the consequences that would be put in place if it were built. This relates very closely to antigone because antigone stood for what she thought was right, which was doing the right thing for her deceased brother, and also in antigone, Antigone believed so strong in what she thought was morally right that she followed through even though she knew what would happen in the
